Health Education for Educators is designed to deliver content needed to clear your teaching credential with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and meets California Education Code Section 44259(c)(4)(A) requirements:
◼Health education, including study of nutrition, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the physiological and sociological effects of the abuse of alcohol, narcotics, and drugs and the use of tobacco.
You will work through six modules in this course. Each module is required and the content in the modules must be completed in full. Content includes videos, online discussions, assessment quizzes, and/or resources for review.
This course is for the 2024-25 school year. The course opens July 1, 2024 and must be completed before June 30, 2025 or additional fees will apply.
