The Ventura County Teacher Induction Consortium is a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support and professional learning that begins in the teacher's first year of teaching for newly credentialed teachers in California.
To be eligible for Induction you must:
- hold a California Preliminary Multiple Subject, Single Subject and/or Education Specialist Credential
- be employed in a teaching assignment in alignment with your preliminary credential as the teacher of record.
- be paired with a qualified mentor
PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to go on a Leave of Absence at any point during the upcoming school year, please contact our office at academicadvise@vcoe.org or call (805)437-1320 before you register. The dates of your leave of absence may impact your eligibility for the program and the registration fee is non-refundable.
